In addition to t he normal advantages available to 8(a) companies under the SBA 8(a) program {13CFR124.311(b)}, CM, as an ANC, has a unique set of rights applicable only to American Indian/ ANC tribal companies:
- Sole-source contracts to an ANC are not limited to the normal 8(a) $3.5 million cap, but may be awarded for any amount. Competitive procurement is not required.
- Once a contract is awarded to an ANC, the award may not be protested.
- If the ANC is a subcontractor, there is a 5% rebate to the prime contractor on all contract revenue received by the ANC.
