Information Systems Impact on Logistics Command and Control Study: We serve on a team that provides the U.S. Army G-4 and U.S. Army Combined Arms Support Command (Concepts and Doctrine Directorate (CDD)) with a detailed study that will identify viable emerging and mature information system technologies and assess their applicability for logistics command and control capabilities in the future Modular Force. The study will synchronize the Army’s efforts, both within the Army and with the Joint community, to reduce redundant efforts and leverage current information systems development efforts and will contribute to the determining a roadmap for future logistics command and control information systems within the 2015-2024 timeframe.
Chemical Inventory Management Specialists: We have assisted with the chemical inventory setup in laboratory environments and provided system training for such. Furthermore, using barcodes, scanners, and computer programs, our staff implemented a new chemical inventory system by identifying and cataloging items of supply and property in a computer program and ultimately applying RFID technology.
Property Distribution Management: Our staff provided property, material and equipment distribution management to relocate four medical clinics. Tasks included the reinstallation of equipment and furnishings and the consolidation and coordination of the disposition of excess material goods with the Defense Reutilization Marketing Office.
